ISAS Services in Prison

HMP Ranby
For several years we have been providing a counselling service at HMP Ranby for inmates who have experienced childhood sexual abuse. Members of this client group have often turned to drugs and/or alcohol to help them cope with the memories and after effects of their abusive experiences. Some have acted out their internalised rage and distress and find it hard to respect themselves and others.

ISAS aims to help inmates resolve these issues and go on to lead productive and fulfilling lives.

Those interested in ISAS counselling can be referred through the prison probation service, health care, the chaplaincy and prison officers.

Referrals for this service come through HMP Ranby.
