| Recruiting Accredited Counsellors (BACP/UKCP)
ISAS have an exciting opportunity and are now actively seeking to recruit BACP/UKCP Accredited Counsellors. In this role you will provide counselling to male and females 16+ who have experienced sexual abuse, rape or sexual violence. Clients will be offered 8, 12, 24 or 36 weeks specialist counselling after evaluation of assessment provided by ISAS Staff members.
In your role you will deliver counselling sessions, monitor outcomes by effective completion of ISAS paperwork and commit to ongoing professional development. This will include mandatory specialist ISAS Training (accredited by the National Counselling Society) which will take 4 days (unpaid).
Training dates are as follows: Introductory Training: 14th April 2012.
- Intermediate Training: 21st April 2012.
- Rape Trauma Training: 28th April 2012.
- Grooming and Offender Behaviour: May 12th2012.
You will also be eligible to access our ongoing free clinical professional development programme.
All counsellors will make a commitment to 1.5 hrs per month of clinical supervision of which we will contribute up to £25.00.
Counsellors will work on a self employed basis and receive payments of £20.00 per counselling session. You will have the ability to travel between venues to accommodate client demand.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills, experience and training in the area of Sexual Violence.
Due to this post having involvement with vulnerable adults, candidates will be required to undertake an enhanced criminal record check. |
